Essential behavior supports language handling, session continuity, security, form recovery, and the borrower / investor journey. These controls are needed for the site to function and do not depend on analytics consent.

Analytics and attribution
Corteran only enables analytics after consent. The current frontend checks the consent state before loading GA4 and explicitly disables measurement when analytics is not allowed.

Preference record
When you make a choice, the site records whether analytics is allowed, when the choice changed, and which entry point captured the choice. That lets the browser keep a consistent preference and makes later updates possible.

How to manage it
You can open Cookie settings from the footer and change the analytics preference there, or clear site data in the browser and answer again. Broader data-handling rules still live in the privacy notice.
